How to clean your brushes

Cleaning brushes can be soooo time consuming but it has to be done. You should be cleaning your makeup brushes at least once a week. My method is fast and easy. I use dish soap,  preferred palmolive or dawn and coconut oil. Step 1. Wet brushes and add a little of both. Step2: Spin in a circular  motion w water until brush is clean. And whala. Done. Happy cleaning.

Crochet braids update.

Ok so I've had my crochet braids in for about 3 weeks and I love the style but the formation is all wrong. I'm also not a fan of the hair. While doing my research a lot of people said any Marley hair would do this trick. But I find that the hair that I purchase and used ( Harlem 125 ) Marley hair is not and I mean not the hair for me. I've dipped this hair with perm rods about 5 times using different moisturizers.  And the curls don't last Longer than a day. And it becomes big and frizzy. 👎
Now the braids under the hair. Once again all my research concluded that braids straight back were the way to do this style but that makes nosense. The braids going straight back leaves a big part or big spaces. The best way to braid the back for this style is left to right and the front small braids straight back.  I'm going to keep this style for about another week and then redo it my way and report back.

Crochet braids !!

When I first started to hear about Crochet braids I wasn't really a fan. I thought they were a cop out to a real weave.  But then after some intensive YouTube research I find this hair style very quick easy and versatile. To start this hair style you have to braid your hair straight back and the braids should be some what small to insure versatile parts. The hair I'm using is Harlem 125 Marley Hair. Using a crochet needle you begin crocheting the braiding hair close together. Below is a Video showing this technique. I added some color in the front. Installing the hair took me about 4 hours. Need less to say my back was killing me after. To curl this hair I rolled it with gray or medium perm rods and dipped them in boiling hot water. I'm not quite sure how I feel about this style because it is so big Which I love but sometimes it can get a little too big.  And the hair can feel a bit  tough. I'll keep you posted on my thoughts and results of these " Crochet braids.
